Duke Nukem 3D v1.3d 'Complete Version'
Here It Is. Come Get Some!
Butt-kickin' aliens have landed in futuristic Los Angeles and
humans suddenly find themselves atop the endangered species list.
The odds are a million-to-one, just the way Duke likes it!
Once you see this game you can't go back to other 3D games
without feeling bored. Duke Nukem 3D is so full of action, realism
and unprecedented interaction that the other 3D action games seem
like empty worlds sorely lacking in complexity.
Part of what separates Duke Nukem 3D from the pack is the
incredible Build engine, which has been beefed up to include slopes,
greatly adding to the realistic look of the environments. No longer
do levels look flat. Another Build engine innovation is that
anything can move in any direction, with allows for stunning
environment effects, such as collapsing building that plummet into
the ground, and earthquakes that shake the entire level creating
chasms hundreds of feet deep, opening up to new, unexplored areas!
Features:
- 24+ interactive, realistic, complex levels await you in the
sinister streets of New Los Angeles, an orbiting space station
and on the surface of the moon itself.
- "immersive," Duke Nukem 3D delivers: With Build technology
you will enter a fully interactive world of towering
skyscrapers, deep canyons, murky water, functional moving
vehicles and never-before-seen special effects.
- Armed to the teeth you brandish your fully automatic
sidearm, rocket launcher, remote controlled pipebombs, shrinker
ray, laser trip bomb and other hi-tech weaponry designed to send
the alien bastards to a messy grave.
- Full movement control lets you sprint, jump, crawl, swim and
jetpack your way through hostile environments.
- A fully interactive, 3D level editor helps you design your
own levels to play and pass around freely.
- Multiplayer support! Duke Nukem 3D's DukeMatch(tm) feature
allows for eight players to battle each other over an IPX
network, or slug it out head-to-head via modem. Cooperative play
is also supported.
- Awesome and often funny speech by Duke Nukem himself.
- SuperVGA graphics support. Requires a VESA compatible video
card. Supports all major game controllers and sound cards. Game
music by Bobby Prince.
- Play it online!

- Try using the pause key before enter your code.
Most Games have 'Cheats' built in, these where typically for developers to
test out there progress quickly. In the "olden" days these where never released
by the publisher or developers. The only time you would have seen cheat codes is if
someone discovered and revealed them.
Anyhow the following information will provide you
with CODES you can use to cheat with or for mod creators to test with. Keep in mind that
cheats will ruin the game for you so only use them after you have completed the game.
The following cheats are available by typing in the given codes, one
character at a time. Previous versions of the game have many but not all of the cheats
below.
-Cheat keys are not officially supported by 3DRealms. If you use the debug keys, 3DRealms
cannot provide any support, since this alters game performance. They may make your current
game session unstable. In short, using cheat keys can cause the game to malfunction or
crash. Use at your own risk! However you can't damage your game permanently.

DNCLIP |
Clipping Mode On/Off -Allows Duke to walk through INTERIOR
Walls.
Warning: The DNCLIP code can be very dangerous. It can cause crashes or kill duke at
any time. Using automap mode appears to elevate this from
ocuuring.
If you have a problem, and have used DNCLIP, restart, and do not use DNCLIP,
and see if it happens again. This was the main reason 3DRealms didn't have a DNCLIP in v1.0.
(In 1.4/1.5 this was "perfected," Maps where redone and more robust.)

OTHER CODES
DNCASHMAN |
Spews money everywhere when you press Space. |
DNBETA |

(Referring to an early pirated beta version(v1.2) of Duke Nukem 3D illegally released on
the Internet some weeks before the game's legitimate release.) |
DNALLEN |
Displays "Buy Major Stryker" |
DNTODD
("dncosmo" in versions 1.0 and 1.1.) |
Displays ""Register Cosmo Today!" |
A) If a cheat code has a star (*) after it's description, that means it has been
added new in v1.3d, or has been changed from v1.1.(Registered version only.)
old format; *DNSCOTTY xy (x=Episode, y=Level) : Level Warp, example 13 would put you in
Episode 1 Level 3
(1.0) Indicates version 1.0
(1.1) Indicates version 1.1
B) The DNCOSMO cheat was removed in v1.3d, because the
keystroke conflicted with a game function. DNTODD in v1.3d
is functionally the same as DNCOSMO.
C) The DNUNLOCK cheat code does *NOT* work in shareware.
It only works in the registered version of the game.
D) You'll notice cheats are disabled on "Damn I'm Good," the most
difficult skill level. But it is possible to cheat using god
mode in this skill level; this is accomplished by enabling the god
cheat at a lower difficulty level, and then switching to "Damn I'm
Good," either by starting a new game or with the DNSKILLx cheat.
E) "DUKE3D'S 4TH DIMENSION" is what duker's have dubbed the
'backwards world' located "inside"
mirrors. In this new "world" the monsters can move but don't seem to notice you.
Everything will be backwards.
You'll also noticed when you walk through a change in shading on the floor you may get
stuck. there's probably
many other unusual side effects you can find. This was tested on shareware v1.1
To try this out enter the code DNCLIP. Then find any mirror in any level and walk
through it.
Warning: Being in God Mode with Clipping off can crash the game and/or produce unusual errors.
When you combine or use more than one cheat during a game session. You
will notice a tendency of code conflicts. One cheat may switch off a portion of another
cheat. The game will indicate that a cheat is ON, but in fact it may have been turned off
or disabled by a previously activated cheat.
