			MAKEMAP.EXE EDIT KEYS
			   & other info

I am using the following versions for this documentation.

REDNECK RAMPAGE full version REL 1.01 MOONSHINE edition 1997 (RR.EXE)

RIDES AGAIN full version REL 1.0 KENTUCKY BOURBON edition 1998 (RA.EXE)

MAKEMAP.EXE version 9/23/1995, from yer CD's RIDES AGAIN\GOODIES directory

NOTES: Use MAKEMAP.EXE from RA, for both RR & RA map making
	 cause the makemap in RR has bugs & locks up a lot.

   If yer in makemap & have done work on yer map, then you load
   another map, you loose any unsaved changes in the last map.

   Many of the keys described here do not need the upper case to opperate
   the function, I mean, you don't have to hold the shift key to get >
   to work, . does the same job, it just doesn't work for this doc.
   + to enlarge is easier to describe than = and a . sitting around
   looks like I made a type-O error, not that I mean push the > key
   with out pressing the shift first. Try all keys with out the shift
   key held down unless told to use the shift key.

   I have a few keyboards/computers and the key commands are
   a bit different on each. Like L:SHIFT to run, one runs R:SHIFT too.
   Try different key combinations untill it works & log yer notes.
   Things work ass backwards sometimes, get use to it, it's Rampage.
   The right arrow key moves things left, up is down, etc.

Some space saving code is used in this text file.
 LMB = Left  Mouse Button
 RMB = Right Mouse Button
 HL = High Lighted, blinking lines/sprites close to MCP or groups w/R:SHIFT
 MC  = Mouse Cursor
 MCP = Mouse Cursor Position, (mouse cross hairs position)
 PMA = Point Mouse At
 NP = Number Pad (on right of 101 key board, key pad, under num lock)
 NPA = Number Pad Arrow keys
 w/X = With X        (X = what ever word follows in document)
uw/X = Use With X
L:ALT = Left ALT key, ALT key that's LEFT of the other one.
R:ALT = Right ALT key, ALT key that's RIGHT of the other one.
u# = Unique number, tagged items opperate togather if tagged the same.
EOF = End Of File
INC = INCrement, enlarge number by 1
DEC = DEinCrement, reduce number by 1
KBD = KeyBoarD
+ = key1+key2, use both keys together. Press ALT,SHIFT,CTRL first.
DONTuse = keys not to be used, left over from some other makemap application.

The map orientation always stays the same:
   NORTH=top of yer screen, SOUTH=bottom, EAST=right, WEST=left.
   NE= North East, you know the rest.

Altho the key commands are written like this S+ALT,
   press the ALT first, then the S. Same with CTRL and SHIFT.
   There may be some exceptions ?
If a description says TOGGLE it means that you can press the key more than
   once to do different things, like: one press is on, next press it's off.
   Some keys you press & hold, drag the mouse, & release to highlight an area. When you press it again, the area/sprite is unhighlited.
