Alien Invasion was made for version 1.4/1.5. It has 24 levels and is 4.0 MB in size. The file name is ai.zip. It was last updated April 27, 1998. Note after you unzip ai.zip into a folder you need to create a sub-folder named inv. Then you need to unzip the ainv.zip file into it. Then click on invasion.bat. Alien Invasion has good level design and gameplay. Nice ratio of weapons/ammo/health to aliens. The level locations are all over the place. You don't know where you will end up next some times. Some levels seem to use elements of levels from other FPS games like Blood or HeXen. That helps make it interesting too. I rate it very good with 4 out of 5 stars. |
