The Asteroid has good level design and very good gameplay up to the middle of level 3. After that there were some timed traps that were a real pain. There is a good balance of health and ammo to aliens and a nice weapon progression. Often in the first couple of levels I was low on health and ammo but there was always just enough to make it through. Also if you have a key and did not see a slot for it here's a clue, it happened to me on level 3. Level 1 is a short level where you crash land on the asteroid and need to make your way to the mine entrance. Very good use of the drones on this level. Level 2 is the mine itself. I finally got the chaingun and a couple of other weapons here. You will need to find the keys to a large piece of mining equipment. Then its on the mining administration complex. Level 3 is the usual key search at first with a lot of jumping from box to box in the storerooms. Then you need to destroy the computer. After you figure out the user password be sure to save often before using the key. This is where one of the hard timed traps is. Level 4 was just a pain in the butt. If this TC had continued like levels 1 and 2 I would have rated it as good or very good. Because of the ending of level 3 and all of level 4 I rate it as fair with 2 out of 5 stars.
