Duke Nukem 3D eXTREME beta 2 is for version 1.3. It has 14 Dukematch and 2 single player levels and the file is 7.0MB in size. The file name is extremeb2.zip. The zip contains beta-1 and beta-2 of this TC. I only tried beta-2. It was released on August 16, 1999.

Since this TC is for Dukematch all I can say really it the levels look good for multi player. Health has been increased to 5000, and some ammo amounts are up too. You need to press the space bar to pick up items. There are new textures and weapons. Episode 2 levels 10 and 11 are for single play. Level 10 is an all boss level I did not like much the first time I played it. The second time it was much eaiser. Level 11 was OK, nothing special. One cool thing is if you hit a bunch of aliens with a rocket they explode in a cloud of blood and guts. Another change I did not like as much is that the screen reacts when you get hit. It can be annoying when it prevents you from shooting back.
