Mystique: Ages in Time is for version 1.4/1.5. It has 30 levels and is 20.3MB in size. The file name is agestime11.rar. This is a sword and sorcery TC. It was released on January 17, 1998. Mystique: Ages in Time is hard. Very hard. Even on the easy setting. Some of the bad guys are invisible and I wasted ammo just trying to hit them. I expect to get killed in a game, just not over and over again on the easy setting. Because of that I have to rate the gameplay as poor. That said I was really looking forward to playing this TC. And that’s what it is, a total conversion. All new textures, levels, weapons, and bad guys. A lot of work went into making this one. It’s just too bad the gameplay was not adjusted so that on the easy setting it would be easier. The level design, textures, and detail are good. But because of the gameplay I have to rate it as fair with 2 out of 5 stars. |
