NIB: The Nightmare Edition is for version 1.4/1.5. It has 28 levels and the file is 8.5MB in size. The file name is NIB_Nightmare_Edition.zip. I used the JFduke port to run this TC. It was released March 13, 2003. NIB: The Nightmare Edition is a collection of 28 levels made into 4 episodes. Some of them flow smothly from one level to the next like in episode 1. Some do not. Most of the levels are hard with some being very hard. I liked episode 1 the best. Very good textures, good level design, and good gameplay for the most part. Some hard to find keys, some nasty traps, but all in all the best episode. In the begining of level 1 don't waste those pipebombs or the steroids. You need them to get through the level. Many of the maps in the other episodes I had played before as single maps. Some are good, some not so good. Based on episode 1 I rate this TC as good with 3 out of 5 stars. |
