Total Duke has fair to good level design and good gameplay. The pistol is much more powerful in this TC. It was actually my weapon of choice most of the time. Expect to die a few times until you get the hang of the changes made to yours and the aliens weapons. I rate it as good with 3 out of 5 stars.
