Zykov Eddy's Aliens TC Demo is for version 1.4/1.5 and needs either the eduke32 port or the jfduke port to run. It has 3 levels, an intro level and full level on episode 1, and a test level on episode 2. The file is 5.3MB in size and the file name is aliens.zip. It was released on November 27, 2008.

Zykov Eddy's Aliens TC Demo is hard. Very hard. There are 3 new enemies and if you let them get too close you are probably going to wind up dead. The pistol is almost useless up close but the machine gun replacement works very well. It's too bad there is not a lot of ammo to be found for it. There is also a pipebomb replacement, a very nice stationary machine gun, and a version of the mechanical suit from the Aliens movie with a gun built into it. The aliens themselves could be improved but they are acceptable as is. You can climb ladders and talk to civilians. There is also a locater device if you can find it. The level design is good and it has a nice level of detail. Make sure you read the text doc. before playing and I would start with the test level on episode 2 to get a feel for the new weapons and aliens. The only major problem I had was running out of ammo and not being able to finish it without cheating. I am sure if I played it a few more times I would get better at it. If difficulty settings are implemented with piece of cake being made easier, or even just more ammo for the machine gun, I would give this a higher rating. As it stands I rate it as fair with 2 out of 5 stars.
